Effective MFA protection with mobile device DNA
AuthPoint uses push notifications, QR code or one-time passwords (OTP) as an additional factor to prove identity. Our mobile device DNA matches the authorised user’s smartphone before granting access to systems and applications. Therefore, an attacker who clones a user’s device to gain access to protected systems can be blocked because the device DNA is different.

WatchGuard’s AuthPoint app allows users to authenticate directly from their own smartphone! No key cards or USB sticks are required. Instead, install and activate the AuthPoint app in a few seconds and then use your smartphone to authenticate. This way, a quick push-based or offline authentication with QR codes via the smartphone’s camera is possible.

AuthPoint’s time-based One Time Password (OTP) hardware tokens are sealed electronic devices designed to generate secure OTPs every 30 seconds, allowing organisations to use the OTPs as an alternative to the mobile token for authenticating protected resources. Our hardware tokens can be used immediately and provide an extra layer of protection for businesses when mobile devices can only be used in a limited or restricted way.
